Let's analyze one of the objections of the participants of the challenge: «I have high quality standards for materials. I want to write and publish long reads, so the regularity of posting every day is not suitable for me »
Longread people were the first to burn out on the streams. Simply because it is physically and intellectually difficult. Now you won't see longreads from them even once a month.
A few personal points:
- If you publish unique content on Facebook every day, and people react to it, then your reach automatically grows for each post and inflates the «friends» queue.
- Longreads are a completely different genre from posts. They are posted in specialized places (media) and read by a specialized segment of readers.
- Longreads take longer and are more likely to be stored in the back drawer. In other words, they have a completely different consumption scenario.
- Investing in longreads is more risky than investing in regular fasting. But the exhaust can be several times larger.
- Longreads are an elephant. It can be written in parts every day, and published at the end of the week. So...
If you want to write a longread on a topic, write the first part of it today. Tomorrow - the second. Or continue from either end. And put a screenshot of the note as a report, for example.
And if you publish it to the channel? What if the audience also has a bomb?
